Monthly Mindfulness Drop-In.

The first time I participated in a mindfulness course, almost 18 years ago, I found it really helpful. I felt clearer in my mind and more grounded in my body. I remember thinking, “This is so great. I’ll always do this!” And then old habits slowly took hold and my practice began to slip. Over the years, this waxing and waning has happened repeatedly. Practicing for a while, feeling the benefit of it… and then it goes to pot!

I started Mindfulness for Law over six years ago and in that time, I’ve probably taught over 1,000 lawyers how to meditate. I’ve taught in many other contexts too. I’ve no doubt that many of the people who found practicing mindfulness genuinely helpful at the time have fallen out of the habit. It happens to all of us.

One ot the things that has really helped me over the years is regular connection with a community of other practitioners. So I wanted to offer that here.

Every month (on the first Moday of the month), I’ll facilitate a short session on zoom (from 8.30 am - 9.00 am). It could serve as a reset and a reminder. We’ll practice together, I’ll sometimes share a teaching or an idea for practice and there will be optional space for questions.

If you’d like to participate, you can subscribe below. You’ll receive an e-mail each month with a link which allow you to join.

Hope to see you,

Barry
